DBA website isn't working for me right now. I'm assuming the extra knob is a gain control, it was annoying as fuck having to unscrew the base plate to get at the gain trimpot. Important controls such as that should always be easily accessible, in my opinion. $100 is a good deal for a brand new two knobber though, I kind of miss my Fuzz War sometimes.

Yeah, it goes fuzz, tone, vol or something. It's just cool they're selling something for an almost appropriate price now!

I don't care what anyone says....the Fuzz War is a massive and versatile beast. Never understood why people don't talk about it much. It is stupid huge though.

The third one is an overall volume controll, It's a cool pedal. The toen control is a little "whacky" it's either really bassy or really trebly, it's hard to get it in teh middle.

Cheap old one. If it doesnt work just send it to dba and two years from now when you get it back youll have been able to play it the exact same time as if you got the new one which will break instantly.

I think they may have done just that...not in the obvious sense, rather took a bunch of fuzz wars and linked a pot to the internal trim pot without updating a pcb. I wonder why it took them so long. I feel like that was the thing everyone had to say about one.

There goes the resale value of mine, might as well keep it :mope:

I'm cool with no drive control since I only run it with max fuzz. It is stupid huge but for scooped and aggressive metal tones it kills.

If I sold my old one I'd take a huge hit, it was my first fuzz and I stupidly bought it new before I knew about this place
