Yea, it's somewhat refreshing, I would watch these more for the voice than the "sex appeal" of stroking the pedal. I would rather listen to her speak than "Gearmandude" where all I think is, "this guy isn't Jack Black, but WHY THE FUCK CAN'T I GET JACK BLACK OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" But in reality, I don't subscribe to a reviewer and watch all the videos they post, I look up the pedal I am thinking about and go from there. If she has a vid of what I am looking for maybe I'll click on it first.

Go do better quality presentations and leave it to that if it bothers You.

Okay, she's perhaps pushing it a bit. She's got immediate media attention. And is actively networking and updating. Can't see what's the wrong with that. I can hardly see low profile as an option at this point where everything seems to be done in a pretty organised and premeditated fashion.

And what's the problem with the raunchy muff pedal pick and the gimmick? Isn't - say - a lot of guitar companies doing the same - but with less humor to it? And, well, D*A*M too, for example. So what's the the matter with that? Not classy? Didn't she agree herself it's a bit on the cheeky/cheesy side to the gimmick (if not Spinal Tap) but she's got as much right to do that as anybody, and let's face it: many good artists and albums have been marketed with less humor to it and in far more embarrassing way :idk:

It's funny because calling a pedal the BIG MUFF was the original gimmicky sex joke and now everyone's all weird about one muff in front of another.

that's a point I sorely waited for: When does the crunchy, gnarly, gritty, nasty, biting, oscillating stuff begin. You know, the reason why to fuzz out in the first place. I, too, wait for more dangerous sounding pedals to be demoed in future. :animal:

The whole thing just seems manufactured and directed at a demographic that I can't really stand in the first place. That being the blooz-dads that think something like "Way Huge Swollen Pickle" is funny.
