If you want to save some money, just put a wet blanket over the pickups.

Gibson's bridge pickups are slightly wider than the neck pickups. You might run into problems with generic covers. Gibson's covers are so overpriced though.

i believe you can get properly spaced covers from Seymour Duncan, among other manufacturers. i don't know how their prices compare to Gibson's, but i'd be surprised if they weren't more fair since Gibson's prices for parts are crazy.
