The big party desert of this past winter at my house was Left Hand Milk Stout ice cream floats. Serious bliss.

Dude if you can get it hitachino makes a lactate stout that is fantastic and probably wont be available for the rest of the year once shops are sold out.

Hellz to the yes. I have had it, once, at a tiny little restaurant here in PVD. It was FAN-tucking-TABULOUS. Haven't tried to get it in stores, though - I should definitely see if my local place can get some.

Haven't read thru the whole thing here, so I dunno if anyone has already mentioned North Coast Brewing's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout yet. Not the easiest to find sometimes, but If you're like me and prefer beer the color of well-used motor oil it's worth the search.

I have been on a huge Pliny the Elder kick~! I have a 10 gallon batch of Pliny clone fermenting as I type this...should be ready in about a month! I CAN'T WAIT!!!
