words can't express how fucking awful this band/song is. i hope to god they're not fucking popular.

I find this kind of music insulting. Not just to me, but to every person I know that is sincere and genuinely interested in any form of creative expression. This is the lowest common denominator of music, and it's done purely out of greed and the hopes of fame. In no way did any of the members of this band have a single original or creative idea when coming up with this song. Their haircuts, piercings, singing style, song structure, choice in gear, and video in general show me that they also have followed every single popular trend to try to make themselves as easy to market as humanly possible. I would normally say that I hope this trend dies a quick and extremely painful death, but it never will. So, instead, I hope that they at least stop stealing the names of genres that once actually meant something.

And, I hope they get hit by trains.

Didn't you put in the required never leaving the studio, eating, sleeping or attending any other classes? Oh and having decent equipment and musicians available to you even if it's/they're not? And pleasing the examiners ears regardless of not knowing there musical bias?

Music production is an incredibly difficult class to pass, but also mainly pointless, don't worry about it... keep working at your skills and start networking with people that can get you places. But mainly enjoy it and take from it what YOU want.

the only good i got from it was meeting some insane musicians
other then that it was the most boring 12 weeks of my life!

the hoops i had to jump through to do the recording projects for it were insane and to have to repeat it just makes me so angry its hilarious
it almost wants me to physically assault him

Chinese faux-screamo = 5000 times better because at least they don't act like they're "sincere" when they're laying down that bullshit. hardcore was over thirty years ago. isn't it about time for kids to come up with something new to express their everlasting revoltingness? doing this shit in the 21st century is like wearing straw hats and playing "Basin Street Blues."
