the no strings rule is bullshit. make it a no keys no guitars rule. so many world instruments that have strings

you have really nice hair.

i can't honestly say i'm a big fan of pitched percussion though. i like it sometimes though, i do dig marimba. and i like oboe. finger cymbals are sick.

and of course, synths! there are so many fucking weird synths out there.

vibraphone. dumbek. toy piano. Wurlizer electric piano. gong. tubular bells. and i've always been potty about double-reed wind instruments: oboe, bassoon, English horn, and the Mideast/south Asian tone-hole double-reeds.
