Need some earbuds

So I got my consignment check from selling my URB, and I'm looking at getting a new set of earbuds. They'll mainly be used as IEMs for the couple of theatres that I work at that have them (that I don't want to use their old earbuds or cans). Price isn't "that" much of an issue (I'd rather pay for something good).

I thought about bringing my Beats headset to use for IEMs, but given that we'll be onstage, I think having a huge set of headphones on while playing out in public is best left for that dude from Linkin Park.

I know several people that use Ultimate Ears and I've been looking at getting a pair, myself.
I used to use Westones a while back.

I have a set of custom molded Westone earplugs (that have the removable noise dampers), so was hoping that they'd have a set of earbuds that my molds could be used with.

no idea tbh, but every where i've looked seems to think highly of the Shure stuff?
I know we have some good audio tech guys here but you might wanna ask on a dedicated audiophile forum, here eventually someones gonna say you should use a ds1

I've looked on dedicated audiophile forums, but given that many of them aren't gigging musicians and wouldn't use the headphones in the field, any recommendation from them you gotta take with a grain of salt.

Also, just found out that my friend uses Alien Ear triple driver custom molds.
I play in my church's band and we all use in ears, ranging from Sony Heavy Bass headphones (me ) to custom molded jank.

Yeah, I've used my iPod headphones, some cheap Sennheiser cans, a cheap set of Sony cans and some actual IEM monitors (which I couldn't stand due to the foam inserts) over the last couple years. Would definitely keep going that route, but after getting a really nice set of headphones, I'm rethinking it.
