i tried it with my preci (through a guitar amp though): i have to roll of the volume about 2/3 that it glitches not always. tracking is with one octave down and this setting quite good. it goes surprisingly down to the low e. but it tracks better at the 5th fret (and improving the higher you go like with all other octavers i had). the sound is cool in a synth lo-fi diso way. i like it. with some delay it was pure disco love  if you turn the volume at the bass up it starts to glitch between the octaves. with delay this is a little bit like some daft punk sounds. but not easy to handle and to reproduce.
So may be your thing...

This is precisely my thing! Sigh... yet another addition to the GAS list...

Very cool demo! I have to admit, this was off my radar for a while but I really want one again
I dig the synthy/videogamey sounds
