Hot passives are the way to go as far as I'm concerned. Overwinding does roll off some high frequencies, but that's cool with me. I play bass, not treble. And Kent Armstrongs are very underrated, that guy does some great work.

i dunno about that Hairy Old Big guy. seems like he only ever starts threads in the efx forum that are borderline trolling and WAY more than borderline insulting to efx and people's that use them.

I saw behndy passive agressive slagging the VTB (high five),...and who else but a closed minded militant straightedger (who shall remain nameless in this post) came in there and tried to defend it. Which reminded me of this:

That guy has always annoyed me,....he is so "open minded" (according to him) that he is close minded,...if an OT conversation even smacks of pot or alcohol he becomes instantly agitated and makes known and proceeds defend his straightedge stance.
