Weird non fuzz, non modulation FX
What are you using for a strange non fuzzy, non modulation FX that texture your sound?
I have the Subdecay Proteus witch I like a lot, the tap mode is what I use the most.

Yea, use POG2, RRR, GK3, and delay(s) to create lots of weirdness. Lo-Fi LJ, or any looper really, will give you some great textural results. Oh, and a VP Jr for insane swells and general mayhem.
I think both the Malekko 919 and A/D pedals will be great for weirdness as well, whenever they become available. Definitely next on my list of shit to buy. I've never owned an Attack/Decay effect but you can get some cool swelling and pulsing effects on those I've tried.
The new "clean" Clari(not) sounds pretty promising also.

Tremolo is modulation...
Other then modulation and delay... compression and envelope filter... maybe Octave but I don't see it as a texture..

Ok... I see... maybe I should have asked... witch filter of analog synthesizer fx do you like the most?
I like the square step mode of the Proteus a lot.

I know our bassist has been messing with Octave>Bassballs>Volume Pedal
The volume almost acts as an expression for the bassballs...

Re: Weird non fuzz, non modulation FX
Well I use a Boss OC-2 a Boss PS-2 and an EHX Bass Micro Synthesizer.. Still want an envelope filter and a ring modulator on that part of the effects..
