I've wanted a hypercustom bass ever since I stumbled across that site. Now I want one with leslie pickups too. Great. My GAS will never recover.

I had contacted the dude at the time when I started this thread and he said he could build another any time. He doesn't have a production though, as far as I know it's just this guy Frank that is a huge Jazzmaster/Jaguar enthusiast and builds lots of guitars based on those. At the time he also told me the PU-Leslie and it being a 12 string was what made most of the price. A normal guitar was considerably less. I do not remember the price, honestly, but he wrote me a pm yesterday that he found this thread and pay could be spread out over the building process etc. I'd say if you want one shoot him an email, at least in german he's an awesome dude to chat with.

I need to know more about this pickup leslie thing. is there a way i can install it to my guitar? a company that makes it?

Also i need a clip of lee playing it.

No company except me: Frank Deimel Guitarworks. Lee's version was a prototype, and I now have another new prototype, which works also as an effects pedal outside the guitar. It just needs a stereo out and a switch inside the guitar, to decide between normal or effects way. but other configurations are also possible.

Well, Lee did it in a New York hospital, they x-rayed several guitars for their cover of their DVD video collection, and decided for the Deimel on the front cover...I did not heard of any harm towards it, so I think it does not do anything dangerous to guitars, except for letting others see how clean the builder worked.-)))
