This is my favorite fuzz solo sound ever. I know these posts are REDUNDANT, but I've spent the last few days looking at a lot of Muff-type pedals, trying to find one that can do the buzzzzzzzing of this solo, with the subtle octave-up kind of decay at the end of each phrase into overloaded chaos. I'm sure it's a bunch of shit, but that was like twenty years ago.

What say you out of like old Big Muffs, the Hoof, the Skreddys, the Dirt Transmitter, etc.?

No I really mean a Fuzz Factory might be able to cop that tone for you... it does Octavey Fuzz, I know one of the Band Members has/had one and it's got an extra boost stage on top of the Standard Fuzz Face design that might make it more Muffy.

If you're wanting muff-like fuzz, check out the Pharaoh. Sounds superb and price is great! There's a new demo up on the Prymaxe site, def different than a Fuzz Factory though.
