i use on 7,25" (both jm and tele) live the G7th (http://www.g7th.com/ ) and at home the shubb c4b (http://www.shubb.com/store/capos/4.html )
now i would only buy the G7th. Worked on every guitar (7 string and bass) very very good. No intonation problems. And it looks quite cool. The shubb ist more oldskool and you could lose some parts (look at this list and you know what i mean http://www.shubb.com/parts.html ).

i use shubbs mostly but those kyzers (sp?) are fun as they are easy and cheap to modify...as in making partial capos. i've been wanted to try the G7 but i just have so many capos i don't think i'll even need another.
on a side note that harmonic capo is pretty fukking rad.

I'd never use a level capo (have tried shubb/kyser/g7 and a few others), they're the worst capos to use for intonation.
Paige Capos are the best and you can get them to match your radius, they use a screw system from the back of the neck to give even pressure. They have a very small footprint on your guitar (i.e. don't get in the way at all of playing compared to lever arches and are much lighter, with a quick release button)

I use it on my Jazzmaster as well as my Guild acoustic. I also recommend them to my students.
