Way Huge Swollen Pickle

Post by DarkAxel »

Hey, guys... what do you think about Way Huge Swollen Pickle fuzz?

(i found one used and even though i don't have any fee space on my pedalboard, almost any money and no need for swapping TGD or Rainbow Factory for it, i'm interested in at least knowing something about it )
I make pedal demos as East Stomp Boutique - http://www.youtube.com/c/eaststompboutique

I impulse bought one 2 years ago (a reissue) and I really liked it but wound up selling it last year to fund other crazy impulsive purchases - nothing wrong with it as far as muff clones go, there's a part in the PGS demo video where he nails a Black Sabbath/Sleep "Dopesmoker" tone perfectly and that's what inspired me to buy it, but I just didn't need a muff clone and a muff on my cramped pedal board..... I kind of regret selling it actually but what's done is done........ I have a few other pedals I've been itching for but if one came up used I would consider grabbing it up..........

i just don't know. I'd consider buying it instead of TGD, because TGD doesn't seem right for me in terms of i'm too "nice " for using it's full potential :-D but then again... TGD is THE SHIT

i pledge to turn up those two TGD's gains all the way up on our next show (that's in a week)

Astricii: sounds heavy as fuck :)

edit: is it as scooped as a big mufff or can your control the mids¨somehow via the "scoop" pot? how does that work?

It's bloody unbelievable on bass, it's my primary bass fuzz. It's a little too smooth on guitar though, but that's how I feel about most Muffs (fuck you guys I liked the Tone Wicker.)
