Games for Windows Live is the worst shit ever. I bought GTA4 through Steam cause it was only $13, everything went smoothly (if not slowly because the download is FUCKIN HUGE) and then I reached the Windows Live setup shit you have to do in order to play it online. Jesus.

Installed one update...okay. It tells me to exit the game to complete the update, so I do. I wait 5 minutes for something to happen, then start up the game again. Another update! Same thing! I restart! Another update! I have no idea if these updates are actually finishing because it gives you no indication! Another update!

I downloaded "Games for Windows Live Marketplace" in hopes of just downloading all the fucking updates manually so I don't have to restart my game every 3 seconds, but now when I try to launch GTA it just crashes. WHAT.

I'm 99% sure the only reason Games for Windows Live exists is to make something so horrifically fucking tedious that pirates stand no chance of ever cracking it. It might even destroy or disband pirate groups just out of sheer frustration.

This is what I used to do:

Every other day I would do 300 push-ups, 300 sit-ups/crunches, 175 squats and various liftings with some cheap-o dumbbells I bought. And every other day, I would run/bike for 12-15 miles.

But, in a very short span of time - I broke my foot, broke my wrist, got pneumonia and had benign paroxysmal positional vertigo "attacks" which lasted almost two weeks.

Anyway, it's been months since I have had any sort of "proper" exercise. I started getting back into a routine again a few days ago...and now I've completely messed up my knee by ramming it into a door frame whilst trying not to knock down old ladies :joy:

I've been all immobile and pain killer'd for the last few days.

The end.

!!!!!!!! just got back from recording a new song, and I hate it. I don't think I like anything about it. But my drummer he loves it. I mean he is in love with this terrible fucking song. I don't want to seem like a dick and tell him that I'm not playing the song since he likes it. But I don't really want to post it online either because I don't want people to hear it. I dunno I guess I shouldnt be such a bitch and just tell him, but I guess I probably never will. :(

I just finished making a Gnomeratron circuit board, and whilst inspecting it, I dropped into a cup of green tea. Now I have to re-build the board, AND get more tea.

+sell it as a B-stock unit for fun and profit

I'm at work, day 1 in the new position, in a new post with new challenges and all. And I hate it, everybody expects me to make all these old crap procedures into new crap procedures and survive the next year and a half...

...after which it starts from the beginning, in a new post...

I plugged in my guitar and the sound was just gone every 5 seconds. Tried the cable direct into amp: worked fine. Tried cable into all pedals but Algal Bloom worked fine. With algal bloom......

A blowing the dust of the patch cables was enough but I nearly had a heart attack

I've been out of school for almost 5 years now. I can see and feel the Internet sapping my writing skills.

I used to be confident about my writing but now I feel like there's always a way to improve whatever post I've just written out. Then I can't think of it, get lazy and post anyway. I'm not saying it has to be superfine 100% fancy eloquent writing.
However, it bugs me when people write properly in instant messages or games. And I like to post in all lowercase and without any punctuation sometimes.
