Tell me about the EHX LPB 2UBE. It has always tempted me.

The LPB 2UBE is really cool for what it is I think... People ask why run through 4 tubes ( LPB in 1 out into 2 out to the Black Finger) then into a tube amp? I say mo tubes mo fuzz... It sounds good to my ears, and I run all kinds of stuff through it... It's one of the very first one's and I've never had a problem or changed tubes, which I prolly should do... :idk: If you like EHX I think you should try it, cheap and awesome... :thumb:

Fucking brutal. Fat and organic but always fuzzy. But they built those anymore  . It is the TM-7 Scrotum Smasher (big pic of a model here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stretta/485644334/ (not mine))
I have some more of these boxes and really like what they are doing with the sound. But they are not really pedalboard friendly. They put line level out (that is the little silver box: diy looper with volume drop poti).

:?: ... how come, inconvenient? :why:

But it's just handy! You know, if there was a button or a lever or a switch to engage it You know what might happen? That's right, You might by a freak accident disengage it again    Quite possibly, according to the Murphy's law, in the middle of a show. Between the songs. In the silent gaps. Now think for a minute just HOW inconvenient THAT would be? That's right, think it.

:oldrant: And then come back loving FUZZ. :animal: There's even a thread
viewtopic.php?f=149&t=14102
on the philosophical ramifications of this wonderful technical solution.
