Need beater recommendations,plz
So I'm eyeballing a Jay Turser Surfmaster guitar(somewhat offset body,3 p90's,switches,etc.).Anyone ever use a Jay Turser? What are some other notable cheapies(besides Xaviere)? aaaaand GO

Yeah.Agile-I saw an LP Special copy with P90's that's quite sexay

Actually the guitar I use the most is a Jay Turser Surfmaster, it's solid man. Not solid enough that I don't pine for a decent fender...but, pretty nice.
The fake bigsby is okay, once your strings get stretched out it stays in tune pretty well, only really goes out of tune out if you jiggle it like crazy. The pickups are nice, a little quacky, but nothing resetting the amp eq won't fix. Not too much output on them, but not super weak...a good balance. Certaintly more output that my Dano. The neck is sort of like playing a baseball bat...but I like that (as I said, I wish for a fender). Nicely balanced, frets don't cut my hand off, good and heavy.
I got mine for like 150 used.
I need to save up money for a real guitar though....
