While they may not be my thing, I respect the others your posted... at least from a workmanship standpoint.

This one looks like a side project from a rejected episode of "Monster Garage" or a prop from "Road Warrior". Would not, could not, with a goat.

I pretty much hate the Micro Synth/Bass Micro Synth.

To me, any sound you can call from it belongs to an age that has already passed. Maybe it would be cool when put through other effects and used as a noise maker but alone it's horrible. It is versatile, you can emulate a lot of tones that would otherwise require an individual effects unit, but every emulated tone is marred by its cheesiness.

I bought it from a dude on Talkbass because everyone there had been praising it left and right but I found out that I couldn't stand it...sold it within a week.

And there's your problem. I don't think it's just me, but I've found that many of the folk on TB are quick to give a product fanboi type praise one minute, only to jump ship when someone mentions a newer product.

Yep, I fell for that one. And the Bass Big Muff...I only like the dry mode on that and even then it's kinda "bleh"...

I've since learned to stay away from that kind of hype.

I totally agree with the above.
Actually I pretty much avoid any thing that gets great hype on TB.

Plus I wouldn’t show up with a black fender with a black pick guard, and most signature basses.

Or a Nudie suite.
