I've been listening to "Star" by Belly for the last couple of days.

I discovered them through The Doom Generation's soundtrack, and then I found this CD (in surprisingly good condition-- no scratches, what!) for 99 cents at one of the local thrift stores.
I've had it for a long time now, but yesterday I rearranged my bedroom-studio area and decided to put it in when I found it while organizing CDs. I forgot how much I enjoyed it. It has an interesting "Cocteau-y" vibe at times, but overall, it's catchier and "alternative-sounding" than a lot of CT's output.

Slow Dog is a lovely-ass song! :joy:

jai uttal - music for yoga & other joys, loveland, and dial m for mantra. check them out! everything from extremely sublime to full on groove. some tasty guitar playing and fuzz happening on these tracks as well. :thumb:
