Anyone else listen to him, I have been for years and I don't know very many people who do.
I know this isn't the biggest forum supporting underground hip hop artists, but he is fucking amazing. His new album is more like his spoken word shit, still hasnt completely grown on me but I like a few songs.
Maybe a little love for Aesop Rock? Atmosphere?

Re: Sage Francis
I'm a big fan of Aesop Rock, El-P, Doseone and a bunch of other underground hip-hop, but Sage Francis never really did it for me.

Aesop and El-P are dope. Speaking of El-P, Cannibal Ox anyone?
Oh and what about Juggaknots? Eh eh?

The Cold Vein is a great album. Hopefully Cannibal Ox will make another one someday.

I need to get into Sage more. Dunno where to start. Should probably just dive in.
Huge love for Aesop, Atmosphere and Brother Ali. I've seen Brother Ali live twice now, and he was simply jaw-droppingly amazing both times. Atmosphere was fantastic live as well, but Brother Ali simply KILLED IT.

I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

A Healthy Distrust and Human the Death Dance, Personal Journals has some good ones as well.
Slow Down Gandhi, Runaways, Little Houdini, Makeshift Patriot, and Sea Lion are probably my favorites.
Hopefully that could help you get started.
