MK that is a sweet looking rig! I bet that is endlessly fun to play with.

Here is something I was jamming on pretty regular through the spring this year:

And here is a little snip of audio from that setup (or thereabouts...)
[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/kosta_stratigos/andrew-hill-walker-outtake-6-26-10[/soundcloud]

The setup is basically two drones, one being generated by a Flight of Harmony Infernal Noise Machine (on the left in the pic) and the other being generated by a Flight of Harmony Plague Bearer (on the far right.) Then the signal chains go like this:

Infernal Noise Machine >> Glitch Computer >> TSP MoleS20r >> Moog Delay
Plague Bearer >> Ross Flanger >> Spring Chicken >> SMMwH

And then some CV coming from the Moog CP 251 to modulate things. Good times.

Looks/sounds awesome.

How do you like the Flight of Harmony Plague Bearer? Good build quality? I'm seriously considering picking up one of those stand alone ones....

Thanks! The Plague Bearer is an absolutely essential piece of gear for me. As filters, they're great just by themselves, but then when you start patching them and adding some CV to the mix they grow legs and start dancing all over the place. And they also can generate really cool white noise and self-oscillating drones. Can't speak highly enough about the Plague Bearer.

And yeah, the build quality is great on those.

Awwww. Thanks dudes. Have been having a lot of fun with this stuff. Delaydecay, your Downgrade shows up in there from time to time too. :thumb:

Shoegazer, if you're curious about the sound quality of the Plague Bearer filters, here's a clip of me running some opera from the radio through just one of the filters (modulated with some CV too.) You can hear some of the white noise / wind noises at the beginning. That's just Plague Bearer with no input (it can be silenced as well.) The assy hum is from my old (and likely half broken / ungrounded) tube tuner. The PB filters each have separate high and low frequency pole adjustments so they're insanely versatile.

This is what I make noise with. Nothing special, but it does what I use it for well.

Put it together, I guarantee you can make it " noise."
