Mario Galaxy 2: Fun enough. Felt like a rehash of the first galaxy and mario 64. Some seriously fun levels mixed with filler and very few new ideas.

What if classic video games had super-easy mode:

Dammit! Now I'm going to have to buy a PS3. I've been holding out as long as possible.
Shadows of the Colossus is one of my all time favorites of all time too! Probably makes the Top 5 list.

Red Dead Redemption: Pretty fun so far...I like the old west take on the sandbox genre, and there are interesting parallels to the current state of the US.
Alan Wake: Installing now.

...and DEAD RISING 2 is out!!!!

That was great. My favourite was the Contra one, where Red Falcon is just chillin'. I like the idea that side-scrolling games are cyclical or annular or whatever, and that you can get to the last level by simply walking backwards.

Good one.

Alan Wake: One of the greatest surivival horror games of the past decade.
It's Stephen King meets Resident Evil with bits of the twilight zone and alone in the dark mixed in

I finished it an hour ago and I still haven't come down, it really instills a feeling of terror and dread :omg:

Anybody else love digging into their games cabinets when bored and rediscovering your favourite games.

Heck yes, it is. I don't know how many times I've argued with my friend that Thief 3 is a shining light in stealth games.

I've been revisiting FarCry 2 over the past couple days. Put about 7 hours into it so far. I can safely say it's my favorite single-player FPS.

But all the fun is in the online play. I've got a handful of games I need to finish, but every time I go to fire up the Xbox I think "well I could just play some MW2 online!" That stuff's like crack!

i don't play online, so i only enjoy the singleplayer :)

right now i'm working on finishing Commandos 2 and the MW2 just got me unprepared  the next will probably be the Dead Space (for the second time, but without the advantage of finishing the game, because my HDD with my saves burnt) :)

Modern Warfare 2 / Star Craft 2 and Red Dead Redemption have been the games I have been playing for the past couple of months. Street Fighter is always a given for me. I have a TI stick :joy:

Red Dead Redemption is really boring because I have never been a fan of Rock star games there is some charm but its not rubbing me the right way.

Come Christmas I will get into Bioshock because the preview for Bioshock infinite looks amazing.

I'm still not playing anything but Starcraft 2 and the occasional SF4 when playing w/ friends.
I really want a dark templar key chain, even though I hardly use em, they're like the iconic SC unit for me <3
