switching system/ loop box

Post by pillof »

I'm seriously considering going switching system/ loop box route at the moment.

I find stacking pedals is just not my cup of tea, especially overdrive and fuzzes.

My Frazz Dazzler and Ram's Head sound dead before or after overdrive pedals no matter how hard I try to get the balance. They all sound good by themselves though...

Any recommendation on the switching system on cheap? I know there's http://www.rockbox.com/efxmkii.htm but a little bit too pricey.

any pic?

I'm still debating on spending money on those expensive midi loops, or just buying an A/B box for low gain/ high gain pedal and tap dance the rests.

I like the Loop-Master stuff: http://www.loop-master.com/index.php?cP ... uvocom04v5

I haven't gone full boar yet and bought a looper but I did buy an ABY box and it's sweet. Great construction and no noise from the pedal.

Seconded, I use a 2-loop box from them and I'll never go back. All my dirt in one loop, modulation in the other, and the rest of the goodies before and after the box.

Pigtronix Keymaster looks awesome. I'm also thinking about splitting.

I've been using a 3 channel Big Foot looper from Road Rage Pro Gear. Reason I went with Jeff was because he offered a number of his loopers in kit form (have some building fun, save some money). I'm not sure the enclosure he uses, but it's a tank. Probably the sturdiest box I'm stomping on in my board. Any questions I had with the build (and the user error), he was very quick to reply to.
