yeah you didn't say the harem had goop, nor was i saying you did. I was merely stating that MY Harem isn't gooped... as you stated that the brownies and cream you saw did...

and FYI: my pedal did take a while to come to me but no delivery date was given, even then they did say i will get a discount for the next pedal i order from them. They are a made to order builder that takes a bit more time than a builder like boss that has warehouses. When compared to the 6 month wait for a skreddy i don't mind.
Any chance you could take a picture of the board inside for us? Seeing as Transient's one is gooped and all.

It's a little odd to ME that a builder would try to mask the board of another DIY company, which make the board for people to build a clone of a pedal. I guess its cool to get a pre-built pedal by Sitori Sonics.
They are built to order and a lot of pedals are, but at least with a Skreddy I know that I would get it in the allotted time or something the builder took the time to manufacture PCBS for. Everytime I have seen someone write something about them, they mention some kind of wait time longer than originally quoted.
I didn't want to start a hailstorm of hate or bad attitudes, but just wanted to let people getting into this company know that they could pretty much build these pedals themselves with a little patience and a soldering iron.

Haha-> this thread. I have to agree with Spiffy. On their site they say NOTHING about what the circuits could be related too. An yet they're not cheap either. Just a little misleading IMO. I'd like to know what kit the tapeworm is though.
My Tapeworm has no goop, sounds great and is innovative. Emanual answered all the questions I had very promptly even though I had already bought the pedal here on ILF.
On a positive note JD from GGG pays a license on the circuit boards he sells so using his boards means some money goes to the original designer which is pretty cool in my book.

Yes they bought from GGG because Emanuel wanted to pay a licensing fee for the designs he used. He did it because he thought it was the right thing to do, as he can get them made cheaper and is now doing that. He didn't always goop the pedals either but due to some certain things that happened he decided to start (same reason he changed pcbs). I have never heard anyone have an issue with Sitori Sonics and if there was an issue with delivery they made it right asap. They are easy to contact and deal with, everytime I have emailed I have gotten a response within a matter of hours. As far as descriptions go what would you like it to say? Feedback is always nice! Mogwai, Polvo, Man or Astroman?, Sonic Youth, St. Vincents, Jack White, The Raconteurs, etc. all use their stuff currently and seem to like it. Did you see the Tape Op interview with Polvo? I don't really follow the logic that it is ok to clone a Big Muff if you use your own pcb but it is not if you buy from GGG... To whoever called them kits, if you are going to say that about Sitori you could say the same for at least 90% of "booteek" builders...

i got a brownie's and cream in a trade here a while back.... read that it does the brown sound well, i was down with that and didn't expect much..... I like it a lot actually, have zero desire to sell or trade it.... and when i opened it up it was built with quality parts and i totally fall for the whole "sonic youth uses them" argument because i fucking love sonic youth.... so like all the other builders out there: long live _______ (sitori sonics)!!
i build my own stuff and yes i could have built a GGG board to be what my brownie's and cream but it's good to support the builders (even vex... maybe)
if you plan on doing any building, go for it.... but if you are just going to clone and not (eventually) contribute to the art of pedal building, i say just buy the stuff from the guys who are innovating and bleeding and sweating over these boards to give you the cool shit to begin with....
