Bleass Monolit -- deep waveform synth (49 EU / $49 USD intro desktop offer or $15 iOS)

It's quite deep if you want to tweak, or you can just hit randomize over & over again---I got a Speak n' Spell, SNES sounds, and electronic bird chirps in my first 5 automations. There's a free demo for test-driving it.

pros: lots of parameters, built-in effects, incredible range

cons: you can't target the randomization or apply a mix lock. randomization does a wholesale change (same as all other Bleass plugins at this time)

Downloaded (along with the free preset pack you get for subscribing) I shall have a lot of fun with that for sure :thumb:

Waldorf unveils a plugin version of the Streichfett. It's 33 Euros / $33 for a limited time, as part of Waldorf's 33rd anniversary sale. (then up to $99) As someone who previously owned the hardware, this is a nice deal. It was a cool desktop device, and really enjoyable with phasers and delay. At $275-350 used, I sold it for bills, and now they're $479 new with inflation. I'm quite pleased to replace it and save the shelf space.

Hey guys, we're unveiling a Prophet with a Moog-inspired filter 8 days before Black Friday, but there's no ordering info or product demos. If you want to know anything about our Trigon-6, well just sit there and wait a week.

(so fucking annoying...)

Funny thing is that the Trigon info comes out the same day Moog announces they’re doing another run of Model D reissues.

$5k.

Still no ADSR envelopes, huh? I wish I had had the money for it when the Minimoog Voyager Old School was available.

It's nuts that Mike Adams approved of dedicating time/resources to rolling out those Minimoogs for ultra-rich studio nerds. Oh wait, this is all that he knows, so of course he greenlit this.

$5K for a mono synth with no memory in 2022 is just insanity. Mike Adams is just *ugh*...

How many dreadful decisions has Adams made in the last 20 years, that has led to them repeatedly losing dollars to obscure builders and startups? Thanks Mike for overseeing the death of the Moogerfoogers, a baffling resistance to software/digital enhancements, and unrelenting price hikes for 50-year old designs. :picard:

Rewind to about 2019, and you could get a limited edition Voyager XL used for about $3,200 over here.

I'm quite pleased with the alternative though.
NSFW: show
Minimoog plugins...there are many great ones + plugins/pedals for under 1K EU/$

or

UVI has a sampled XL with sequencers/arpeggiators, which can do some great stuff on its own

You've also got multiple options for Memorymoog VSTs.

What's the world going to do when we run out of PT2399s? Are builders in the digital era finally going to have to learn to code?

Gives me big Rubberneck vibes.. the number of iterations of PT2399 pedals with the same functions and just tiny-micro variations is reaching Tubescreamer-clones levels.

Still love my VFE Echo Ohce pedals which is my only experience with that chip. I love them so much that I probably should have explored more of the other PT2399 pedals
