I fixed the issue of my PV 215 sounding like ass. The magnet assemblies have a foam cover on top of a metal screen, and they had started to crumble and rattle around in the speakers, giving the shittiest distortion ever. But now it's fine, yaaaay.
I also put my finger through one of the cones by accident, but glued it back, yaaaaaay...

And the power amp I got, which faded in and out sporadically, was fixed with a shot of deoxit to the volume pot. I have a bass setup for the first time in like 4 years, yaaaaaay

What made me happy today was finding my DOD FX75B Stereo Flanger again! It went AWOL months ago and it turned up at the bottom of a box of old cables and I've already used it to write some new pieces of music with. And my son and I will have a new album out soon...

I was just about to close the bar after a pretty shit night when this dude rolls in. Starts a tab with one bud light, cussing like a sailor, keeps on demanding shit, just spends an hour and a half nursing his beer and playing darts. Well he comes over and says he wants to close out. I ask if he wants it on the card or cash. Tell him his total, $3.29, he hands me a $20 and tells me to enjoy my night and starts walking off. I called after him about the $16.71 and he just turns aroung, "Didn't I just tell you to enjoy your goddamn night?!" Disregarding the tip, I still think he's my new favorite customer.

Still dealing with my ticket bullshit, but didn't go to jail for contempt of court when I told the judge to pull my other leg when he said he was trying to help me (by making me pay $140 to get my license reinstated due tp the clerk's fuck up), so thats nice

I just bought my first house. Well, me and my girl. Two story, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, a garden, garage, tool shed. The full package. Definitely a step up from the flat me and the misses has lived in for the last 7 or 8 years. Feels surreal, but exciting for sure.
