Took the plunge and ordered a - how you say - Randall's Revenge? What are some interesting ring mod pedal pairings? It's been years since I sold my MF Ring and tbh I didn't spend enough time with it.

I know I should just read through this entire thread as penance but ILF is loading slow as hell these days.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

good ones! ring mod after swelling droney grindy Industrialectric RM-1n (cuz, why not gild the lily?) and also darkling warblers like the F.C. Shallow Water or the Earthquaker Rainbow Machine in certain settings. But it would probably sound awesome to ring mod the rainbow spew settings too (i need to try that to gild more lilies)....

I have been gassing so bad for a Shallow Water and would love to see how it would pair with my Randy’s Revenge. Never thought to pair my Rainbow Machine with it for some reason. Now that I think about it, those two should work wonders together. I guess I have something to do this weekend

One of my favorite pairings is to put some kind of pitch modulation like a vibrato into a ring mod. It makes it Alive. A slow flanger before ring mods is good too.
Another fun one is to put an extremely clean and bell-like ring mod into a polyphonic octaver and push the lower octaves ringing low freq droning.

have been using these three together a lot recently, very obsessed. rainbow machine has been vital to me over the last few years. then added the shallow water which was also so perfect, i sometimes get frustrated at the limitations but ultimately love what it does. recently got a randy and its been v fun and interesting to play around with - its definitely my favourite tremolo i have ever used. anyway the three together is sick
