Too many great ones to pick a favorite.... Lately I'm loving these:

- Pitch Pirate and Clarinot for the dirty and weird stuff.
- Small Clone for cleaner chorus.
- G O A T K E E P E R ! ! ! !
- Moog Phaser + Goatkeeper + Moog Delay (with lots of CV patching) for spaceship insanity.
- Moog Control Processor + Flight Of Harmony Plague Bearer (quadruple bandpass filter with all kinds of CV options) for amazing modulated filtering.
- FM stuff on the Caracol was mad nice too!

Ever? If I could only have one, I would probably buy a Whetstone again.

What's that "BALLS" control do, I wonder? :poke:
Anyway...I don't have much experience with modulation effects, but I'm seriously thinking about going for a phaser or flanger.
I like the warm, chewy sweep of a phaser, but I dont like the big bassy "Whomp!" that happens at the bottom of the sweep of most phasers..
are there any out there that allow more control over how far the phase..um..phases? :?:

Yes, actually, there are a few that do that. The EHX Stereo Polyphase has start and stop knobs, that allow you to choose how high and low the phase sweeps. And the Moog phaser lets you choose the center frequency of the sweep, so you could turn that up so it only sweeps in the upper frequencies. I'm sure there are more, those were just the first two off the top of my head.

I really, REALLY like the modulation capabilities of the Dlx. Memory Boy. And I also like the non flanging tones that my BF-2 can get.
