I think I'll treat it as an ordinary release. I hope this will be the final iteration. Some of the changes have been made in order to make it easier to produce and keep as a regular addition to the lineup.

I'd love to see one of these as a regular release that's generally available and not so hard to come by.

I was chatting with Knut about Baklengs yesterday, he told me that:
- it will have an open/closed infinity loop switch (a bit like on fabrikat), a dream come true as after trying the Fabrikat, I always wished the Bakfram would have something similar as well!
- it is possible to switch octave up and down without loosing the buffer memory,
- but on the other hand switching between forward and reverse direction will delete the buffer memory

That info is accurate. Currently making some final refinements to some aspects of the code. I think the hardware is done but will have to do some more rigorous testing before wrapping up development. Will make an attempt to upload some more samples this week. :)* :)* :)*
