Oh helllssss no, has a really elegant tracking circuit, 24dB filter, built in chorus, a ring mod, switchable pulse, square, saw and triangle oscillators and two modulation sources.qersty wrote:Damn it has actual oscillators?! thought it was just like the micro synth. way cool!!
Plus, Fuzz.

I tried... even skipping through it was more draining than listening to this caped one on keys.Dandolin wrote:Dandolin wrote:I really like the sounds in that demo

Same. Had sorta been maybe thinking about possibly looking for a guitar and this popped up close by for a good price. I’m used to jags so it’s a transition, but it sounds so good. Believe the hype!coldbrightsunlight wrote:wooooo!

Excellent! I am also used to my jag, which is where my head says "why do you need something so similar?" while the heart says "I wants it"

Does anyone know off-hand the differences between the OG Fender J Mascis and the Squier, other than the colors? And cost. Love my Fender J Mascis, just wondering what the difference might be.

The fretboard (9.5 radius pau ferro or laurel on the Squier, 7.25 radius rosewood on the Fender)manymanyhaha wrote:Does anyone know off-hand the differences between the OG Fender J Mascis and the Squier, other than the colors? + the Squier has the vibrato moved slightly closer to the bridge, with the TOM bridge straight instead of angled
Pickups are slightly different too but I can't speak to the actual sound difference.
The Squier is such an awesome sounding guitar. I gigged one for ages and never even thought about changing the pickups.

Did you change the bridge on the Squier or did you otherwise keep it stock?
