Yah, but this is a pedal for your foot foots, and it is $900
This is still cool, but the form factor x hypebeast train x CB/Meris tech is why this is so batshit uggspensive (also hand constructed by a human in America, toots).
And rack gear will always rule, but it doesn't look as good on the pedlol board, obvs

CBA pedals (at least the ones I could be interested in) were already out of my league, so this one doesn't affect me at all plus I hate faders on pedals.
That Mainframe surprised me a lot, and it looks good - also it reminds me of some Malekko I can't recall right now.
EHX is coming back in my radar with all the new pedals of 2020 (Pitchfork+, 1440, Mainframe, and if I was in the market for a reverb I'd be happy to check the Oceans 12 too)

All the boss loopers have one-shot playback but you have to set a loop that is already saved for one-shot playback. Boss has never done the half/double speed thing as far as I can remember. That has historically been a Line 6/Boomerang thing that some other manufacturers picked up in various ways. Seems like Boss loopers have been moving more purely toward singer/songwriter type players over time.
Included are 200 permanent factory programs and 200 rewritable user programs, including the original 40-program sound set from 1978 that found its way onto countless recordings and film soundtracks back in the day and beyond.
200 factory presets that can't be written over is a definite disappointment. As someone who's owned the P~6 & the OB-6, it really frustrates me that they stick you with stuff you don't want and can't overwrite. That's such a waste. Why not just let people do a factory reset via USB, if it's sold and the new owner wants the original default settings?
