I think maybe he did list them, but I wasn't interested or paying attention to them after the initial read through.

Makes me wonder why he emailed me yesterday morning to confirm that I still wanted the muff/rv-3/etc... :whateva:

I saw something that was probably gonna become 'should have bought it', so I did. I fucking bought a Gibson Grabber for $700. I feel so accomplished, except for the fact that I have it on layaway, so I don't really HAVE it yet.

a few years ago, I passed up a circa 1965 Gretsch hollowbody (sorry, can't remember which model) with original case, original $250 price tag still in it. Hell, it still had some extra original flatwound strings in the case that probably came with it. It wasn't mint, but it was all original and definitely playable. The guy was asking $600 for it at a yard sale in Tennessee. I was a poor college student. I actually had $600, but knew my dad would kill me if I blew it on a guitar. I still think about it at least once a day. Every day.

Oh, and your DMM reminds me that the other day on CL I saw a SMMH for $60, but I didn't contact the guy because I didn't feel like driving an hour to pick it up. I'm sure it would have already been sold anyway...or at least I keep telling myself that...

70s deluxe memory man (my favorite pedal, own 2 90s reissues, this particular one was used in demos that first inspired me to get a DMM)
super early zvex octane (realized after it was what I wanted, price lower than I'll ever get again)

Anyone else pass on some choice gear lately?

At least you didn't end up dead, chopped up in garbage bags in a dumpster out back with your head in the fridge for fun and games later, which is no doubt where a too-good-to-be-true CL post like that was going. Think yourself lucky.

I could have gotten a DSD-2 for around $25, but was to lazy to go pick it up.

Hooray for laziness! :joy:

All it needed was new tubes and a new reverb tank. It was in top shape otherwise.
