i also work to find things in the future to look forward to, so everything isn't focused on the Now i don't like. that's a big part of why i've been to 15 concerts this year, and now i'm planning a road trip for next September that'll take me all over the Rocky Mountains and back out to California for a visit.

my last therapist was really good at giving me these kind of strategies. when i'm really worried, she also taught me to talk to myself as though i was my Mom and tell myself "it'll be all right, honey...try not to worry for now."

Usually reading Buddhist books gives me a sense of peace during times of trouble, but recently when the practice asks me to engage with the world on its own terms, instead of giving me courage, I feel like "lol absolutely fucking not"

i ran out of weed on Saturday night on the way home from The Orb show in Brooklyn, and now the nightmares are back. and i'm totally broke till i get paid next Wednesday. this weekend is going to suck.

i pretty much always dream, but when i'm not smoking the nightmares get progressively longer, darker, and more terrifying. before i started again they were so bad i'd go bolt upright in bed in the middle of the night.

That shit is WAY more expensive than regular pot. I can't believe the CBD prices.

That being said, I found an excellent one if you need a recommendation. It's not cheap however.
