Exactly! Seems like everyone forgot about it, when forums are overloaded with reverb threads right now... Lockdown side effects?
There's like 4 or 5 longer demos now, enough to show what it does. I think it sounds fantastic, but I wouldn't pull the trigger on something that expensive without trying one in person first.
I have one, still getting to know it. It is definitely different, colorful. At first I didn't much care for it but one day I hit this one riff and Rooms fit it perfectly. I like the change to alternate settings on the fly footswitch. Been using mostly the Room and Gate settings, for some reason. Need to explore it more but it probably going to stay on my board for awhile.
I love the ROOMS. I can’t recommend it enough! This year so far has been great for Reverb pedals. The ROOMS, Draume and Hypersleep are all amazing. What really makes the ROOMS great is that you can mix it in with other effects more than other Reverb pedals. You can control the master volume, volume cut off, mix, dry and wet. So it can play well with other effects perfectly. My favorite mode is the wave(filter) mode. It can be a wah, crazy resonant filter or add great character to what you are playing. But all the different modes are really good, even the standard room and digital ones.
Went under my radar somehow. There's some stiff competition for eleborate tricked out reverb pedals these days though, $400 is almost twice the price of the DBA reverberation machine :/

True. The price is the only drawback of it in my opinion. I have a reverberation Machine too and I think they are different beasts.
The reverberation machine is a much, much simpler reverb so there's no wonder there's a big price difference. I think the Rooms sounds promising as hell, but not really looking for a new reverb atm. Maybe used down the line I'll pick one up.

Feeling THIS. It’s hard to justify getting more reverbs or delays when my board has become one Od/boost combo, one fuzz, and like 3 delays, 3 reverbs, and a looper. There’s so many different sounds to try, though!

Searching for that new sound.
If you can read this, then I'm back?
Absolutely don't need it and it's way over my possibilities, but i just watched a demo and i think i'd love it and since it's stereo i'd love to pair it with the Minilogue, especially in Gate and Gong mode. Maybe in a couple of years..

What struck me in the demo from the Pedalzone, is how you can have that massive reverberated sound and still have a strong dry signal. Because that's always a thing with reverb right? When you're looking for a huge, drenched atmosphere, you often need to push it to the wet side, but then you lose too much of your dry signal. But the Rooms seems to give you a good balance between a strong dry signal and a really spacious sound (like a Bigsky would).
I'm now wondering how it sits in a band mix... did you get a chance to try that?

Sorry for the super late response. I haven’t tried the pedal out in a band setting/mix. I only play by myself right now. Sorry. But for what it’s worth I can’t imagine it not being great in that setting. You really have total control on the volume of dry and wet mix/volume on this pedal. Plus unity is at about 11 o’clock. So you can get super loud. Hope this helps.
