THAT IMAGE IS TOO HOT TO HANDLE. (or too hot to sample?)

Question for Model:Samples owners: is it possible to set up different lengths for different tracks as on the Digitakt? that feature caught my attention a lot because of my interest in evolving rhythmic figures with different time signatures and polyrhythmic stuff. I went through the M:s manual but haven't found anything similar, am i wrong? :erm:

I am a little too busy/dumb to follow this question as written, but are you saying tracks as in "one bank of samples" or "one sample per 1-6 possible triggers"?

You can definitely set up different trigger sequences per track (so sample 1 will play 4 on the floor and sample 2 will play on the second cycle of every third cycle, for example), if that's what you're asking.

Sorry probably i didn't explained myself well. There's a mode on the Digitakt, called "track per length" where you can set individual length to each track of the pattern - if I understood correctly - like, sample 1 is playing in a 7/4 pattern and sample 2 in 11/8, and sample 3 in 5/3 etc.

Yes, you can do that on the M:S. Number of steps and scale (1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 3/2, 2) per track.

that's good news. The fact that it's not able to record directly is still a big letdown, but since it has a significantly lower price-tag than the digitakt i keep it in consideration.

I was thinking. Often when I sample a synth sound onto the OP-1 or whatever, there is a click when my sample restarts. A crossfade on the restart would solve this, but I don't think one can do that in the OP-1. What do my colleagues of sampling suggest?

That only works when I initially press the key, when the sample ends it restaarts and clicks ugh
