Because that's super reductive and boring. Plus I've not actually seen any "anti shikawkee posts". Just people who perhaps disagree a little bit with a single thing he's done in his life.
Sorry back to regularly scheduled black/white discussion, flippers are terrible and anyone who disagrees with me should be shot beep boop
I guess that would be me who made the anti post.
I think the practice of flipping pretty much anything (concert tickets, cabbage patch kids, pogs, guitar pedals, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, etc) for profit is shitty, but we all do shitty things sometimes. Sometimes for reasons, sometimes for not. I just say own it. I've sold a pedal for double what I paid once because someone came and offered me double what I paid...it was actually an offer I could not refuse, so I did not refuse it. Was it shitty? Sure. Were both parties happy? Sure. Was it anyone's business? I didn't care. Will I justify that I did it? Sure. Is it shitty to justify it (hey, he offered me, and I wasn't gonna sell it, but I couldn't refuse that offer so...). Am I a hypocrite? Sure. Is it okay to find the Cosby show funny still? Sure. Can you still enjoy an R Kelly song? Well....that one's on you. Does my point of view make sense or even matter to anyone? It shouldn't. You do you...if you feel good about the things you do, then who cares. Most of the time I feel good about the things I do, sometimes I feel remorse...I try to learn from those times, but I don't always.
Do or do not, there is no try
