Sorry about the messy release. Thought the updated site would be up for the task this time around. More Draume in March!

Man, good for him for getting so many people that stoked on a reverb pedal (myself included).

Ohh that looks fun. Do we know if it can record samples on its own?

Only the promotional images have leaked, so not yet. Polyend tends to be real with their their shit so I hope so, I take it that since they do a lot of modular based stuff they mean this to take the place that a lot of octatraks do on modular/dawless setups. We'll see.friendship wrote:Ohh that looks fun. Do we know if it can record samples on its own?

Yeah that is definitely intriguing. I am interested to see the final feature set. I'm hoping for some kind of combination of the Digitakt and the Tasty Chips GR-1, but apparently it had synth and FM capabilities too. I might be able to replace a couple of synths with this one...

Re: 2020 Happenings! (Post-Namm Depression)
After waiting the last two months to hear the Polaron, this might be the worst launch I can remember. Eight people were tapped to do sponsored demos and all I heard was the usual amoeba rock, caucasian funk, blues schlock, and country picking. ---Why don't more phaser demos cater to synth users, people into ambient/cinematic stuff, or even just elevator covers of Radiohead? I don't care for dance/electronica producers, but at least they would've done something different than blues/funk.
This demo was the most tolerable for me, in terms of delivering some Mutron-like sounds and showcasing some slow, bubbling sounds (much of this is after 7:30). I can't endorse the styles chosen, but I could at least begin to hear the potential of the pedal. ---If you're going to use a phaser for funk/blues/country, you don't need to go out and drop $200+ on a 16-stage phaser with uncommon controls and tap tempo. This is such lazy and uninspired marketing. How long would it take to find someone on IG to do a psychedelic/spacey demo for this pedal---10 minutes? I don't need fancy production, claymation, or virtuosity, I just don't want to hear any more goddam, shitty funk riffs.

I think we just have accept that electric guitarists will never, ever, ever get over the minor pentatonic scale, and if we want to hear a demo of some equipment, we're going to have to hear it for the one billionth time from some Stevedave

Wow the Polyend Tracker is much less expensive than I was expecting. It's up for pre-order on their website for $599USD. I honestly though it was going to be at least double that.

I might need to offload some stuff and got on this train. At first glance this is what I wanted an updated OP-1 to be.
