Playing around with the Fabrikat this evening, and Bank 2, Algorithm 8 - Shuffle/Mask does a pretty decent random, glitchy square wave Trem sort of sound. Might be my new favourite algorithm on the pedal!

A cheap/easy option is stacking 4 tremolos in a multistomp and messing with the rates and depths. It's not a single random pulse per se but it'll take long enough for everything to resolve and start over that it's functionally the same thing.

Voluum has the s&h, yes, and you can simultaneously nudge the rate to further pulverize any sense of consistent pulse.

My new reverb will have a random tremolo feature as well

Has anyone mentioned the Sentimental Bob Tacana tremolo? It has tons of waveforms (including random) and is super cheap.
