RHCP have been mostly a self-tribute band since Frusciante first rejoined.

I honestly had no idea. I probably would be rolling my eyes though. I adore his solo albums though in particular "Niandra LaDes and Usually Just a T-Shirt".

I don't think I ever didn't roll my eyes at RHCP - mostly because of Kiedis.

Frusciante is an interesting fella though.
