Not EVH pattern but I love how insane his original amp setup was. I wanna try the speaker config he had sometime (fun fact steve von till uses the same speaker config but in a way more modern cab)

Sorry for necro but the amp config? It was a plexi that he ran at like 70% current and had a dummy load so he could put his echoplex after the amp. Then he ran it through a crown amp or something like that. The speaker config was a 412 with greenbacks on top row and ev12s on the bottom. It probably sounds like super compressed dookie but I appreciate the over-engineering
