Also, how do you like that 12-Step? I've never seen that before, but I've been curious about getting some kind of foot controller for awhile.

Its kinda the only option for this kinda thing that is compact and affordable. Its very flexible with programming and works nicely right out of the box. The buttons can feel a little weird in certain shoes but I've been playing with it for a bit and it functions pretty damn well.

Yeah I started toying with this idea when I saw a Roland PK-5 for sale locally. That one definitely wasn't compact and I doubt it would have been as flexible. I never did much research past the Roland series, but the 12-Step looks like it would do the job well.

I can second the 12-Step recommendation. After a bunch of research It's where I landed to control various synths in a two-piece while playing guitar. I've had it for a couple years and still working great. I also agree that the buttons take a little getting used to and the right shoes make a difference.

That is a rad setup. Do you use that with shoes or do you play in socks? Does it run to the PA?
