Been watching 30 rock again and it is just so its own thing and I love it.

^^ not really controversial but relevant to the current conversation i guess

i could get down with all-day marathons of "COPS" and "Forensic Files." or "Monty Python's Flying Circus." or most of all the cartoons that ran when i was a kid: 1930s-50s Warner Bros., "Rocky and Bullwinkle," "Wacky Racers"...

One of my all-time favorites. I was crushed when it came to an end. It was still hitting, even though it was obvious Tina was closing up shop.

i won't go that far, but he sure was the only slide player who played melodies rather than blues cliches from 1958.

my favorite "slide player" probably doesn't count cos he's a lap steel player: David Lindley. i've been wanting one of those bakelite Rickenbacker steels since they were actually still affordable.
