short analog delay into long-ish digital delay. digging it. still uncovering lots about the rubberneck.

it's a Blk/Tri Torch. I have another Blk/Tri to put in the neck alongside a new PG but I just changed strings and don't feel like dealing with taking it apart right now.tremolo3 wrote:Sexiest pic I've seen in days. Re: Setup of the day thread?
I listened to some cool sound cloud recordings of the swash CV tweaker max and thought I should run my mini swash through the Bakvendt and some other shit.. so I did.. just used my thumb on the cord plug where necessary to start the train..
So ---- Magic meter with magic mode on -> Mini swash -> Bakvendt-> Culturejam Neptune delay-> rainbow machine-> MF Phaser -> Amp ..
Wow. So much rad. The Bakvendt right after the swash set to about 3:00 regen mode and 3:00 stretch .. backwards grain.. so sick. The Neptune has a momentary switch that slowly charges a cap and illuminates an Led that lowers the resistance of an LDR in parallel with the time pot, so it slowly changes the time, modulating it .. them when you release it, it slowly discharges the cap through a limiting resistor and dims the LED dropping your time back to normal setting. It's really fantastic for tabletop madness. The rainbow machine I like to set for minimal pitch and magic but enough you can hear it .. then I set the Flanger really deep and slow so it has that juicy rubber band type shit happening. It's been a fun noise adventure.

Hey thanks man! I actually thought of that great clip you posted with your can based train starting device when I was setting it up. I usually just play guitar and blooz dad shit up.. or trip the light fantastic with too many effects .. so this was a rather significant departure from that.

Re: Setup of the day thread?
I have not yet.. the magic mode does weird shit to gain sources after it, though I'm curious about the EQ.. I worked like 60 hours this week so I haven't finished the big swash but I'm pretty stoked on that shit.Chankgeez wrote:Have you also tried it with the Magic Meter and Swash switched in the chain?

Re: Setup of the day thread?

We played this doom festival last night, and the bass player couldn't make the gig, so I played through both these amps to make up for that. Was super rad!

I put a Gonkulator in the effects loop of a Rubberneck and now I'm probably just going to throw away all my other pedals.
