LOL. Sorry, I was trying to clear the confusion, not cause more.

Final season of Rake up on Netflix, pretty hyped! It's become one of my all-time favorites after stumbling across it last year.

We're a few episodes into Hill House. Enjoying it quite a lot. I feel like it's cheapened by the jump scares. That's my only real complaint.

Yeah, the jump scares were a bit lame. At least they “fit” somewhat into the feel of the show, at least I thought so.
Finishing up season 5 of Agents of SHIELD because I don’t know when to give up.

So apparently Disenchantment has 10 more episodes that are part of season 1, and Netflix ordered 20 more for season 2 (distributed over 2 years like season one) ...
I think the writing will only get better and now that I've learned to love it even though it's not Futurama.

Oh really?
I didn't catch that abbreviation. Wife and a daughter were watching that, I caught like 5 minutes and thought it was a cute show.

OMG, Hill House is turning into one of the creepiest and most unsettling things I've watched in a long while. It is so refreshing, after feeling like horror just isn't horrifying anymore. Anyone read the book?

Yeah, it's actually quite clever and refreshing. The long shots in the funeral episode were so good. I too could do without the jump scares, but they're fairly few and far between.

Re: The Netflix/Hulu/Prime Thread
Agreed regarding Disenchantment. The aforementioned V reboot ended with major cliffhanger edgeplay. I would say it was even more WTF-inducing than Farscape's finale, though most of the characters weren't as likeable as the series progressed. Now on to Defenders and continuing to watch Netflix Marvel shows in the order in which they were released ... and more Babylon 5. Haunting of Hill House sounds intriguing, and the missus will surely want to indulge once we finish Ice Fantasy, which is so awseomely campy it's undenyable. Live action anime based on Chinese manga is surprisingly entertaining.

Started watching Rake because of this thread. Very funny with some familiar faces.

Re: The Netflix/Hulu/Prime Thread
I want to watch Hill House but it puts me to sleep every time we turn it on. I'm in bed and comfy, the lights are out, the show is pretty slow paced and the jump scares are spaced far enough out to where I can drift off. It seems interesting but it's so relaxing

Good to hear. I watched episode 6 last night and, especially after episode 5, felt it was sorta bland. I guess it's taking a breath before picking back up?

Watched most of maniac today (7/10) because I've been off sick. Pretty good!
