Re: Setup of the day thread?
Thanks for bill nyin my question...anyways...
Finally found a solution to a unique sound I couldn't find before, was about to go super flip mode...buuut sooo...we have a loop goin.. Crustacean 1v4 into gristleizer...into chimera which goes out to cloud buster, which then goes into 1v4 back threw gristle into chimera...i can still add another 5 pedals into the second in of the chimera which is like the master mix point.

think of south america, of flaking dried fluid in a shrunken head with stitches over its mouth while playing in the key of fear, think of rotting teeth and liposuction and thats the sound...but maybe il get around to a vid, I gotta get a routine down and get to know this concoction a little better.

2,3,4,8,24,32,86.
Mother > Klein Bottle; Twin Stags, Behringer Echo Park, Ayahuasca in the respective loops. Twin Stags LFO > M32 VCO 1V/OCT.
This may or may not have resulted in the drone that tried to assassinate the Venezuelan president yesterday.
1st experiment with the Klein, definitely has possibilities, need more time to get fluent. There's almost too many blending and volume options - the Master knob, the Dry pot, mix knobs for each loop, then another mix knob on the delay in the loop - had trouble finding the balance I wanted between the delayed signal and anything else, especially when I wanted to accentuate what was happening with the delay and push it into something more ambient. That should come with time, and gear choice - which is key with a piece of kit like this.
But violent stormtrooper proto rhythms, a natch with the two stag stages beat against each other and feeding back and forth through the ramping dirt and textures of the Ayahuasca. Switching between stags solo, Ayahuasca solo, the two together; switching VCO modulation on the Mother to selecting between a single repeating note and something approaching a walking bassline; quick toggles of the VCF for blasts of static. Poor man's TG, '1. outside' era Bowie, power electronics disco. Nice.

Re: Setup of the day thread?
I have been setting my Beloved Rebote 2.5 up to do nearly infinite repeats lately and doing some finger picking with my also beloved magic meter as a gain source and getting neat harmonic throbbing. Then I add in some reverb and some rainbow machine for the flames around the black hole .. it's been fun.
The magic meter is a really cool gain source.

3rd pedalboard iteration of the day:

Not certain what creative direction to explore today and just experimenting with textures, some gazey, others doomy, and a few djenty or of the noizey persuasion.

Re: Setup of the day thread?

Tried a dual mono setup with a doom duo jam last night. Sounded massive in the room, excited to listen to the recording later.
Guitar tuned A A D A D D.
Signal:
tuner > analog delay, stereo out
(left) Rat > Fabrikat > CT5 > Echoplex > JMP
(right) germanium fuzz > Boneshaker (on 100% of the time) > Revolver > Twin
