stereo enhancement pedal

Post by alexsga »

anyone make one? like a stereo spreader? maybe something like Logic's Stereo Spread vst if you guys know that, how bass remains mono and highs are panned?

is there any point in doing this with a mono gtr signal though?
and...

was this weirdo supposed to be a stereo enhancer?

What about turning the bass way up on one amp and the treble way up on the other?

I've got a stereo width circuit in primitive development, though there are tons of published circuits out there that will go about it in a cheaper & more accurate manner (insert laughing engineers here).

Feeding a mono signal though defeats the point. Ideally it will span from A plus B (mono) to A minus B (exaggerated stereo with no center content), if you plug a mono signal on one side and nothing on the other the circuit should change nothing (ASSuming a perfectly balanced circuit) and if you sum your mono to both sides it will go from full amplitude to silence (again, assuming a perfectly balanced circuit).
