Is it wrong to...be gettin' hungry for pupusas?

You could fill the middle part of that question with the most morally revolting and horrific thing imaginable and the answer would still be no. To think about pupusas is to be hungry for pupusas, they don't carry the weight of the crime or the context.

There was a Salvadorian place near our old house in California, that was about halfway between my work and our house. They had great pupusas and every Friday they had their own version of a shelled style cioppino type soup that was fantastic. My wife and I used to go there for lunch at least once a month. I miss that place, it was amazing.

Yeah, Philly's not as great for Central American food in general (other than Mexican). Of course, there's lots of great Mexican. Which isn't a bad thing, but it's not Salvadoran. I still haven't made it to any of the Salvadoran joints around here.

Yeah, there's some decent Mexican places nearby, but I think the closest Salvadoran restaurant is Cleveland.
