The Heat 2.0 was unveiled without warning yesterday. Elektron has added a larger screen that shows more parameters. The left-side buttons have also been upgraded. The reception (unsurprisingly) has been largely negative, but I guess if you're not a V1 user or someone who cares about Overbridge, this does show some improvement. It's only about $50 more for an improved display and more ergonomic buttons.

I didn't realize they raised the price too, thats a little ridiculous. It makes sense that they made it look closer to the Digitakt and Digitone, which probably lets them order some of the buttons in bigger quantities too. But I personally like the V1 look better

I haven't looked into it at all, but every time I see a picture of it, I imagine a vibrato whose rate is completely random every time you stomp on it. Not sure how that would be useful, but that's where my mind keeps going.
