Idk if its still being discussed, but if we need more mods im down to help out. Im always on just more silent since I usually have nothing to contribute conversation wise. Letting in new members/weeding out the shit would give me something to do.

iPhone bots, admin fuck-ups in the shark tank and multiple people telling me on IG/FB that they've tried registering without getting access got me wondering...

If you are an active admin, PM me so that we can let more pedal lovin' folks in.

I have to keep changing security settings, as eventually the bots figure out how to get past them...and every time that happens, I get flooded with 20-40 registration attempts a day. So I then have a ton of accounts to sift through, checking each "why are you here?" profile spot to see if they're real. So it gets bogged-down, and this is because I don't have the budget for a full-time paid admin to handle registrations. Sometimes one or two bots slip in. In those cases, I rely on user reports to spot and nuke them.

Also, people who are registering sometimes give me a couple hours, or just one day, before they start emailing asking what's up. That's cool, I'm here to help, but I've been processing registrations once or twice a week.

As for admin fuck-ups in the Shark Tank, I know of one issue where someone was blocked out of their Shark Tank because they'd paid their dues with a different email than what I had on file--so I messed up, and corrected it as soon as they emailed me. If there are any other issues in the Shark Tank, I haven't gotten an email about them, and without an email, I won't notice the issues on my own.
