I am almost done with day 2 of quitting smoking (again for the millionth time) and I have PMS, so my headache has been awful and I just want to sleep.

Probably shouldn't have scheduled quitting during PMS week, but I guess I was gonna feel miserable anyway...

Yeah quitting smoking is a bear. You can do it!! :)* I have an oral fixation, so chewing gum and gnawing on toothpicks and shit really worked.

Everything is so incredibly fucked, I sometimes question why I don't blow through the obscene limits credit card companies have given me and then tell them to fuck off and die while I use tolex from a Dumble to wipe my ass.

....on the subject of tobacco...if you "quit" and relapse like we all do...duck fsc...buy some raw papers..good filters...American spirit tobacco packs...roll your own...and set a limit...then decrease limit. Time. I'm never quiting though...but I know...maybe when I'm 40...I love tobacco, it is always there for me, I refuse all other medications.

Oh man if I weren't concerned with the health risks I'd be smoking a bareass at all times. Just saying.

Man I've thought a related thing so many times: if they came out with a risk-free cigarette today, I would start smoking again immediately.

I do like smelling better though. And the lower anxiety. Also sleeping better/waking up not feeling like I've been barbecued internally. And better sex. And not spending 7 or 8 bucks every day on em.

Yet somehow I still walk by people smoking on the street and am like "ahhhhhhhh I MISS IT." Was in Barcelona recently and it was rough, so many smokers enjoying themselves.

Why? Why.

Hang in there with quitting smoking, it's worth it. I had quit for years at a time and gone back. It's been over a decade now for me and in hindsight it feels like smoking never actually did anything for me, just created shitty feelings that it would make go away briefly when I smoked.

I feel that pain right now though, I quit caffeine almost 3 weeks ago and just as the headaches stopped I got hit with one of the worst colds I've had in years.

yea i totally agree that i think it was really just briefly relieving the shitty feelings that it was creating in the first place.

if i don't smoke weed, cigs are gross and don't do shit for me.

if i hit that green, then i'm all like gimme cig and i'm sucking em down.

i'm doing okay. mornings have been the strangest feeling.
finally got into the walk-in hours to start my therapy. (they tell u to show up at a certain time, but don't tell u that they fill up like an hour before the start time)
just basic intro shit. don't go back again for a couple weeks tho for my 2nd (they said it was a 3 part thing before they come up w/ a plan)

since no weed no cigs, i think maybe i am just feeling all these emotions again that i was not feeling when i was high pretty much all the time.
i just start crying for seemingly no reason. i am fine but a mess at the same time.
i just keep telling myself that it is all temporary

Yep. I like smoking. But I have been doing it on and off for 20 years (started v young) and I need to quit for good. I can smoke weed and it doesn't trigger anything but going to the bar will be almost impossible for me for a while.

I like good rolling tobacco, so that won't help me quit. I just have to stop and not do it again. This one is all about will power. (god help me)
